Malayalam Actor Bala Faces Fresh Allegations: Ex-Partner Accuses Him Of Rape And Abuse, Ex-Wife Claims Forgery
In a series of detailed social media posts, Elizabeth accused Malayalam actor Bala of rape and revealed that his alleged harassment had once driven her to a suicide attempt.

Malayalam actor Bala, no stranger to controversies, finds himself in yet another storm of allegations. Just months after his arrest on charges of outraging a woman’s modesty, following a complaint by his ex-wife, singer-composer Amritha Suresh, another former partner, Dr. Elizabeth Udayan, has come forward with serious accusations against him.
In a series of detailed social media posts, Elizabeth accused Bala of rape and revealed that his alleged harassment had once driven her to a suicide attempt.
Malayalam actor Bala faces fresh sexual assault allegations
Recently, Elizabeth took to Facebook to share a screenshot of a comment on a YouTube interview featuring Bala and his current wife, Kokila. Responding to a netizen's claim that Bala had been “sexually lured” by her when he was her patient, and that he could potentially have her medical license revoked, Elizabeth challenged him to do so.
She clarified that they first connected through Facebook and claimed to possess messages and voice recordings of Bala communicating with other women during their relationship.
Expressing disbelief over how Bala was able to remarry, Elizabeth recounted that Bala had allegedly tied a wedding chain around her neck in the presence of multiple guests, including police officers. However, she claimed that Bala and his mother later insisted that their marriage could only be officially registered once he turned 41 due to a “problem in his horoscope.”
She further accused him of subjecting her and her family to mental and physical harassment and expressed ongoing fear of his associates, who had previously threatened her. “If you continue this, I will file a case against you for cheating, hitting, and blackmailing me,” she warned.
What Elizabeth wrote
In her Facebook post, Elizabeth wrote: “He is threatening me telling me he will tell his past, he will leak our bedroom video. I had taken tablets for depression. But he didn’t tell me; he abused me, raped me and cheated many more girls. My hands are shaking typing this because of helplessness. He publicly said that I was infertile. He indirectly (said) I gave him the wrong medicine.”
Challenging Bala and his supporters to take legal action against her if she had done anything wrong, Elizabeth argued that a formal complaint would be a more appropriate response than a smear campaign. She also highlighted her lack of financial means for PR strategies and the absence of the political and influential backing that Bala enjoys.
She further alleged: “Once ur police in Chennai threatened me even one police officer from Kerala called my parents to take ur daughter home after raping me and i gone for suicide attempt , ur telling i am not ur wife na so without my consent whatever u do is rape i think.”
Adding to the controversy, Bala’s ex-wife Amritha Suresh also accused him of submitting fraudulent documents in court related to their divorce case, as reported by OnManorama. She claimed that Bala forged her signature and attempted fraud concerning their daughter’s insurance.
“I have not asked for insurance amount, this case is due to document forgery (fake documents) and attempted fraud of court documents with my fake signature. I have never said I want money anywhere. Stop this cyber attack against me again by distracting things through PR work,” Amritha wrote on Facebook.
