Speaking to ANI, Katrina shared her thoughts on attending the grand spiritual gathering. "I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy, beauty, and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here," she said. The actor was accompanied by her mother-in-law during the visit.

Katrina Kaif also attended Ganga aarti at Arail Ghat in Prayagraj. Raveena Tandon was also seen along with her daughter Rasha Thadani.

Just days before Katrina’s visit, her husband, actor Vicky Kaushal, also traveled to Mahakumbh on February 13. His trip came ahead of the release of his film Chhaava.

Akshay Kumar at Maha Kumbh

Earlier in the day, actor Akshay Kumar also took a dip in the Triveni Sangam—the confluence of the Ganga, Yamuna, and the mythical Saraswati rivers—and praised the well-organised arrangements at the event.

The 57-year-old actor recalled his visit to the 2019 Kumbh and acknowledged the vast improvements in infrastructure and organisation this time.

“I had a lot of fun, the arrangements are very good, very well done... We are very grateful to the CM Yogi sahab for making such good arrangements,” he told PTI.

“I still remember when the last Kumbh was held in 2019, people would come with bundles, but this time all the big people are coming, the Ambanis, Adanis and big actors, everyone is coming. So the way the arrangements have been made for the Maha Kumbh are very good and I would like to thank with folded hands all the police personnel and all the workers who have taken so much care of everyone,” he added.

The Maha Kumbh Mela, which began on January 13, will conclude on February 26.
