Kashmera Shah Shares She Apologised To Govinda At Arti's Wedding, Says 'Unka Gussa Rahna Banta Hai' On Sunita's Absence

Bollywood star Govinda attended his niece Arti Singh's wedding, ending his years long fallout with his nephew and Arti's brother Krushna Abhishek.

New Delhi: Television actor Arti Singh's wedding was a star-studded event with popular celebs from the industry in attendance. However, the limelight was stolen by Bollywod star who made an unexpected appearance at his niece's wedding. For the unversed, Govinda is the maternal uncle of actress Arti Singh and her comedian brother brother Krushna Abhishek.

Govinda and Krushna had a fallout in 2016 and the two families have not been on talking terms since then. By attending Arti's wedding, the 'Hero No.1' actor ended his years long feud with 'The Kapil Sharma Show' star. Krushna's wife and actor Kashmera Shah expressed her joy on Govinda attending Arti's wedding and blessing the actor for a happily married life.

Kashmera Shah shares she apologised to Govinda at Arti's wedding

In an interview with the Times of India, Kashmera expressed her gratitude for Govinda's attendance at the wedding. Recounting their interaction, Kashmera described how she was welcoming guests at the entrance while Krushna and Arti were on the stage. When Govinda arrived, she felt a surreal moment and immediately greeted him with a bow, saying namaste. Kashmera recounted how she escorted Govinda to the stage, where she intended to touch his feet as a gesture of apology. However, Govinda stopped her and wished her well with the words 'jeete raho, khush raho.' Kashmera interpreted this as Govinda's acceptance of her apology, stating, "I bent down to touch his feet. Kashmera also took the opportunity to introduce her six-year-old twins to Govinda. The renowned actor warmly hugged and blessed them, evoking a deeply emotional response from Kashmera. While Govinda graced the wedding with his presence, his wife Sunita Ahuja was notably absent from the ceremony. When questioned about Sunita's absence, Kashmera remarked, "I wasn't expecting her to be there. Unka gussa rehna banta hai (She has the right to be upset)." She acknowledged the need to address her issues with Sunita at a later time, describing her as an 'alpha' woman. Furthermore, Kashmera hinted at underlying tensions stemming from a tweet incident in 2018 as a potential reason for Sunita's displeasure.

Krushna also expressed his happiness at Govinda’s presence at the wedding. He said, “I am very happy. Bohot khushi ka din hai aaj, Arti ke liye hum sab ke liye. Mama aaye bohot khushi hui. Vo dil ki baat hai, humara aisa emotional connect hai. So happy to see him aur Yash abhi bhi hai andar. (It is a big day for Arti and each one of us. Mama (Govinda) came, and I am very happy. It's a matter of the heart. We are emotionally connected. Yash is still here)."
