Jaya Bachchan Gets Into Banter With Paparazzi At Ira Khan's Reception, Jokingly Says 'Humko Sikha Rahe...'
Jaya Bachchan was also present at Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare's wedding reception and had a banter with the paparazzi like always.
New Delhi: Aamir Khan's daughter Ira Khan and her husband Nupur Shikhare's wedding reception was held on January 13 at the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre in the BKC area of Mumbai. The reception was a star-studded affair with almost entire Bollywood and celebrities from other fields attending the event. Jaya Bachchan was also present at the event and had a banter with the paparazzi like always.
Jaya arrived with her daughter Shweta Bachchan, and actress Sonali Bendre. The veteran actor donned a royal blue kurta and pyjama set with a multicoloured long jacket.
Upon her entrance, the paparazzi requested Jaya, Shweta and Sonali to look towards them while posing. They requested her to pose at a specific spot on the red carpet, but Jaya firmly told them not to give her directions.
The senior actress responded rather sarcastically, “Kya aap idhar angle humko sikha rahe hain. (Why are you teaching us the angle?)”. She then smiled at the paps and left the spot.
Later, when Shweta attempted to pose with her and Sonali Bendre, Jaya walked off to a different spot.
Jaya is known for her interactions with paps. Not a fan of paparazzi culture, she never shies away from giving them an earful when she feels they are crossing the line or are causing any obstruction.

Neetu said: "I feel Jaya ji does it on purpose, woh ek baar ho gaya na, now she does it. She is not like that at all."
Replying to the 'Kabhi Kabhie' actress, KJo said: "Not at all, she is so warm and lovely. They get so scared of her, she enters and just says bas hogaya. I think they also enjoy it now."
Neetu added: "She enjoys it, they enjoy it. I feel it's some mili bhagat."
The whole of Bollywood, including Bollywood superstars Shah Rukh Khan, Salman Khan, Ranbir Kapoor, actress Katrina Kaif, Oscar-winning music composer A.R. Rahman, veteran actress Rekha were present at the reception.
