Esha Deol Posts First Time After Announcing Separation With Husband Bharat Takhtani: 'No Matter How Dark It Gets...'
Esha Deol had shared a picture of herself on gram for the first time since announcing separation.
New Delhi: Esha Deol, the daughter of veteran actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini, and her husband Bharat Takhtani, who got married in 2012, jointly announced their split earlier this month. After the declaration, Esha posted a photo of herself on Instagram with a touching message about two weeks after the statement came through.

Esha posted a photo of herself wearing shades and a hat on her Instagram account. "The sun will rise, no matter how dark it gets," she captioned the photo. The two have been married for 12 years and are parents to two daughters.
Farah Khan Ali, Sussanne Khan's sister, posted, "You are gorgeous," in the comments area. "You are stunning. Don't allow anyone make you doubt your strength. "Looking gorgeous ma'am," a fan said. I hope everything is good with you.

The ex-couple had issued a statement to Delhi Times which said, “We have mutually and amicably decided to part ways. Through this shift in our lives, the best interests and welfare of our two children is and will be of utmost importance to us. We’d appreciate our privacy is respected.”
In their 20s, Esha and Bharat began dating after meeting in school as youngsters. In her 2020 book Amma Mia, Esha talked candidly about her marriage into a "joint family" and the upheavals that resulted. As she wrote, “When we got married in 2012, there were many things that changed. Of course, once I began living with his family, I couldn’t roam around the house in my shorts and ganjis like I used to,” she wrote but added that his family was “wonderful” who “took me into their fold effortlessly.”
