Pop singer Ed Sheeran is all set to captivate Chennai audiences for the first time on February 5 at the YMCA Grounds in Nandanam. The highly anticipated concert is part of his ongoing +–=÷× Tour (Mathematics Tour), which began in 2022 and is organised by AEG Presents Asia and BookMyShow Live.

Ed Sheeran gets a 'champi' in Chennai 

Ed Sheeran is all set to give fans an unforgettable musical experience. But before his big concert, he’s enjoying some local traditions. The singer was recently seen getting a classic Indian champi (head massage), and from his big smile, it was clear he loved it. As expert hands worked on his signature curls, Sheeran looked completely relaxed, soaking in the moment like a true desi at heart.

In the clip, a local masseuse gives Sheeran a head massage, tapping his scalp in a rhythmic motion. The singer looks amused and happy, making funny faces as he enjoys the experience. Despite the strong technique, Sheeran clearly loves this Indian champi.

Ed Sheeran India tour

Ed Sheeran, the multiple Grammy-winning singer, began his six-city India tour on January 30 in Pune. He performed in Hyderabad on Sunday and is now set to take the stage in Chennai. The singer treated fans to hits like Shivers, Love Yourself, Photograph, and Happier. The concert kicked off with a special opening act by singer Armaan Malik. 

Following Chennai, the British singer-songwriter will perform in Bengaluru on February 8 and Shillong on February 12. He will wrap up the India leg of his Mathematics Tour with a grand finale in Delhi-NCR on February 15, where singer-actor Lisa Mishra will join him on stage.
