About the song Aar Kobe

After the nation was shaken by the rape-murder incident in Kolkata on August 9, Arijit Singh recorded the song Aar Kobe. The slogan "If not now, then when" (Aar Kobe) urges everyone to stand up for the fight for women's safety.

In the description of the song, the singer's official YouTube account says, "Let this song add to the chorus of dissent. May it be a voice of hope, a plea for justice, and a catalyst for change. Together, we can try to ensure that such tragedies never happen again."
