Ananya Panday Shares If Bollywood Stars Were Paid To Be At Anant Ambani And Radhika Merchant’s Wedding

Ananya Panday was among the Bollywood stars at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding in July.

Ananya Panday, who is earning praise for ‘Call Me Bae’, was among the Bollywood stars at Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant's wedding in July. During the interview on the most recent episode of The Bombay Journey with Mashable India, the actor talked about the lavish Ambani wedding.

Ananya Panday shares whether Bollywood stars were paid to attend Ambani wedding

Ananya addressed the rumours that Bollywood celebrities were paid to attend the Ambani wedding. “Nahi (no)! I don't know why logon ko aisa lagta hain. They are my friends. So obviously main doston ke shaadi me aisa hi nachungi na (I will dance like that only for my friend's wedding right)?” said Ananya.

When asked about insights taken from the wedding, the actor said, “One big takeaway from the wedding was that so much was happening, but whenever Anant and Radhika would look at each other, it was just pure love. It felt like violins were playing behind them. That’s something I want in life — that no matter how much chaos is around, you and that person share that connection. Second, even the girls should have a baraat! Third takeaway would be, they made everyone feel welcome. No matter how many functions there were, they greeted everyone with so much love and warmth. That’s such a great quality because it makes everything feel very personal.”

Anant Ambani got married Radhika Merchant on July 12. The star-studded ceremony was attended by celebrities from all around the world. In Anant's baraat, everyone danced, including Priyanka Chopra, Ranveer Singh, and Rajinikanth.
