Ahead of his 60th birthday, Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan celebrated alongside the media in a meet and greet on Thursday. Staying true to his grounded and affable personality, the actor stepped out to greet photographers and express his gratitude for their continued support over the years. The actor will turn 60 on March 14.

Aamir Khan cuts birthday cake with paparazzi

Dressed in a black t-shirt and blue denims, Aamir was seen cutting a birthday cake with the paparazzi, smiling warmly as he thanked them. Videos and pictures from the celebration quickly went viral.

Aamir Khan on his birthday and Holi

During the conversation, the actor shared an interesting connection between his birthday and Holi, revealing that he was born a day before the festival of colours. “Sixty years ago, when I was born, it was a day before Holi,” he recalled. This year, however, his birthday and Holi fall on the same day, making the occasion even more special.

On being senior citizen

Despite officially stepping into the senior citizen category, Aamir admitted that he doesn’t feel any different. “I don’t feel like a senior citizen,” he told the media.

Aamir Khan shares about learning Indian classical music

Aamir also shared that he has been learning Indian classical music for the past two years. “Actually, I love singing. My guruji is Sucheta Bhattacharjee. I am loving the experience of singing under her. She’s really amazing,” he said, expressing his admiration for his teacher. 

Aamir even treated the media to a small performance. He sang a song from his 90s hit 'Akele Hum Akele Tum'.

 On Wednesday, Shah Rukh and Salman were spotted at Aamir’s residence for Aamir’s 60th birthday on March 14 and for Iftar. In one of the videos, Salman Khan is seen exiting Aamir's residence. The two share a hug before Salman leaves through the main entrance. Another video shows Aamir Khan walking down with security personnel, while Shah Rukh Khan, wearing a black hoodie, hides his face as he exits the premises to avoid being photographed by the paparazzi.
