Ira is the daughter of Aamir Khan and his first wife, Reena Dutta. She also has an older brother, Junaid Khan.

Ira Khan and Nupur Shikhare celebrated their first wedding anniversary in January this year. The couple tied the knot on January 3, 2024, in an intimate ceremony. They initially formalized their relationship with a registered marriage at Taj Lands End in Bandra, Mumbai, followed by a Christian wedding in Udaipur. The ceremony was attended by close friends and family, with a grand reception held later in Mumbai.
