Brahmastra Pre-Release Update: Ayan Mukerji Shares BTS Video To Advance Bookings Show 52K Tickets Sold...

The Brahmastra BTS video comes at a time when the advance bookings for the film show an upward and rising trend.

New Delhi: Makers of 'Brahmastra' are leaving no stone unturned to promote their film. With 5 days to release, 'Brahmastra's director Ayan Mukerji shared the BTS video from the film featuring its cast, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Nagarjuna among others. Ayan also posted a heartfelt note with the video. 'Brahmastra' is a three part epic fantasy which will bring together Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor for the first time on screen.

Taking to his official Instagram handle, Ayan shared, "Where Spirituality meets TECHNOLOGY…5 DAYS TO GO… 🤞🕉💥Yesterday was the first time, I saw every shot in Brahmāstra - finally finished, polished and ready for it’s audience !Very emotional moment for me, because of how long and challenging that journey has been, on every single shot, from the drawing board to the big screen!Felt right to share some Behind-the-Scenes today, to celebrate so many years of growing through technology!(and hanging out with blue screens!)."

Film and trade analyst Sumit Kadel shared that 'Brahmastra' began with a fantastic start. He tweeted about the film's advance bookings. "#Brahmastra advance is off to a FANTASTIC start, over ₹ 52K tickets are sold at Multiplex chains,  1-1.5 lakh are on cards by 8th Sep.Hindi audience were demanding a film which is rooted,inspired from our rich history & culture. Content of Brahmastra is exciting our audience."

 

Likewise, according to AndhraBoxOffice.com, 'Brahmastra's advance booking data shows a good start. "#Brahmastra advance has been off to a Good Start (Primarily 3D). The film has to maintain same momentum leading upto Day 1 and open with ‘at-least’ ₹30 Cr+ Day 1 Nett for the Ultra High Costs involved. 2D Bookings will hold key to post the required numbers."

 

'83 and Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 sold approximately 1.05 lakh and 1.03 lakh tickets at the national chains, and it remains to be seen when Brahmastra goes past this prestigious mark.Reportedly, the film is showing a good pan-India feel, given that tickets are selling out fast across demographics in India.

According to a Pinkvilla report, given the early trends, 'Brahmastra' can cross the advance bookings figure of films like "Shamshera, Prithviraj, Raksha Bandhan and even Laal Singh Chaddha by maximum Sunday noon and the hope will be on it to zoom past the overall advance of ‘Jug Jugg Jeeyo’ and Gangubai by end of Sunday in the national chains."

'Brahmastra' is a three-part fantasy epic starring  Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjuna and Mouni Roy. The film is slated to release on September 9, 2022.
