The film is the first installment 'Part One: Shiva' and is part of a planned trilogy in the Astraverse. For those unaware, 'Brahmastra' took more than 10 years to make with the film's VFX being it's most difficult factor. The special effects of the film were done by a UK-based studio. The VFX is also the reason for the film's massive budget, of almost Rs. 470 crores( reportedly). But looks like with the performance of the film at the box office, 'Brahmastra' is likeliy to recover most of it's cost of prodcution.
