Bankrolled by Star Studios and Dharma Productions, the magnum opus is currently in theatres in 2D, 3D and Imax 3D in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.

For those unaware, 'Brahmastra' took more than 10 years to make with the film's VFX being it's most difficult factor. The special effects of the film were done by a UK-based studio. The VFX is also the reason for the film's massive budget, of almost Rs. 470 crores( reportedly). But looks like with the performance of the film at the box office, 'Brahmastra' is likeliy to recover most of it's cost of prodcution.
