Bigg Boss OTT: Akshara Singh Age-Shames Shamita Shetty, Says ‘She's My Mom's Age’

Bigg Boss OTT: The popular Bhojpuri actress Akshara Singh is not getting along with Shamita Shetty and it is quite evident on show.

As expected the controversial reality show, Bigg Boss is already creating waves on social media, with all kinds of drama, fights and some shocking revelations. Bigg Boss OTT kick-started on Voot from Sunday(Ausgust 8), and the viewers are already witnessing a lot of spices with the ongoing drama and revelations.

While we have already seen two big fights inside the house and now contestant Akshara Singh has age-shamed fellow housemate Shamita Shetty after the two had a major showdown recently.

The Bhojpuri actress is not getting along with Shamita Shetty and it is quite evident on show. Both the actresses had a big fight recently where Akshara accused Shamita of dominating others and having an attitude problem. Later Akshara while having a conversation with Urfi Javed addressed Shamita as 'Mausi'. She tells Urfi, that she didn't know that Shamita is 42-43 year-old and has been in the industry for so long. She goes on to age-shame Shamita and further adds that the Mohabbatein actress is of her mother's age. Ui and Akshara both then laugh over it and call her 'Mausi'.

Akshara also added that Shamita has the habit of dominating others and keeps an eye on everything that is happening in the house. Urfi also supported her on this and added that Shamita tries to dictate things, 'apne season mein toh harr ke he gayi na, kya kar liya' (she was unable to win her season and now she tries to dictate things to us).

On a related note, Shamita is not doing the reality show for the first time, she had earlier entered the Bigg Boss season 3 house in 2009 but had to quit the show mid-way on Day 34 to attend her sister Shilpa Shetty's wedding to Raj Kundra.

This year Shamita once again entered the show and as per the theme of the show, 'Stay Connected', the actress chose Raqesh Bapat as her connection and was the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss OTT house.

Coming back to Akshara’s comment on Shamita we wonder if host Karan Johar will raise this topic on ‘Weekend Ka Vaar’!
