New Delhi: Bigg Boss is one of those reality shows that everyone looks forward to seeing each year. This year, fans will get the opportunity to witness the 16th season of the game show, and there have already been a lot of rumours and predictions regarding the candidates who will be participating in Bigg Boss 16. The news that Salman Khan will be returning to the program in his role as host is also buzzing on social media. 

A user on Instagram has posted a few photographs and claimed that makers are working on the set of Bigg Boss 16. Based on the photographs, the show's colour scheme seems to be aqua, with plenty of gold and blue accents. Whether these are authentic photographs of the Bigg Boss 16 sets or not is a matter of debate.

Preparations for the show have begun, according to a report in Etimes, and it is now in pre-production. Midway through September is the target date for the completion of the house's construction, following which the technical inspection will start.

Salman Khan, according to a report in Telly Chakkar, is requesting a three-fold increase in fees. The source told, "Once again the news about his fee has popped up where Salman has asked for a three-time hiked fee considering that he hasn’t got a big hike in the past few seasons and this time he is adamant that until he doesn’t get a hike he won’t be hosting the show, though there is no confirmation on the same."

Earlier, there were rumours that Bigg Boss 16 will be delayed till November because of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. This turned out not to be the case. After a hiatus of five years, the celebrity dancing reality program will finally make its comeback. The tenth season of Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa will debut on Colors TV in the month of September.
