Rajiv Nehra, founder managing director of Jadooz Media, says there are 110 crore people in this country who have never experienced 'First day First show' and it is these110 crore people who can change the cinema industry. We made a movie hall that is completed in three months. It is made at a cost of Rs 35 lakh. Here the ticket cost is Rs 100-125, whereas the popcorn costs just Rs 50.

First Cinema Hall in Tawang
Arunachal Pradesh currently has hardly three or four theatres, out of which one is in Itanagar but not a single one in Tawang. Rajiv Nehra said starting from Tawang we will expand in the rest of the country. All throughout the North East, we'll build at least 20-22 screens in 2022. It is opened in Tawang now. The construction work of Bomdila will be completed by Christmas this year.

In 2006, Arunachal Pradesh joined the Indian Cinema league with its first feature film 'Sonam'. The film has been shot in Tawang city. However, ironically, locals were dependent on laptops and projectors of conference halls for watching movies. After the first lockdown in early 2020, watching movies in projectors has also stopped. Tawang also has a 336-year-old Buddhist monastery, the largest in India and the second largest Buddhist monastery in the world after the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet.
