The trailer is brimming with engaging elements, immediately capturing your attention from the start, and the intensity escalates with each subsequent scene.
Today, on November 23, the creators of 'Animal', featuring Ranbir Kapoor, Anil Kapoor, Rashmika Mandanna, Bobby Deol, and Triptii Dimri in the leading roles, have finally unveiled the eagerly anticipated film trailer.
The trailer is brimming with engaging elements, immediately capturing your attention from the start, and the intensity escalates with each subsequent scene. The father-son relationship is depicted in a distinctive and captivating manner. Also, the trailer highlights exceptional background music and a soundtrack that is genuinely enjoyable, presenting Kapoor in an imperfect yet compelling character. In addition to him, Rashmika Mandanna also has her own moments to shine in the film.
The trailer commences with an enthusiastic Ranbir engaging in a conversation with his 'papa,' Anil Kapoor (who plays Balbir Singh) recreating a moment from his childhood, hinting at their tumultuous relationship. It becomes apparent that Ranbir's character is earnestly seeking his father's love and approval, willing to go to any lengths to attain it. When Anil's character becomes the target of an attack, Ranbir returns home with his wife Rashmika Mandanna (who plays Geetanjali) and two children, vowing to avenge the incident. Thus initiates a tale of blood and violence that leaves the entire family, including Anil himself, in shock, acknowledging the fact that his son is a criminal.
One standout aspect that grabbed the attention of fans was Bobby Deol's menacing portrayal in the film. Playing the role of the antagonist, the actor's blood-soaked appearance gave rise to stunned reactions from the audience.
The trailer concludes with a powerful scene of Bobby, now bulked up, brutally assaulting Ranbir's character and nonchalantly smoking a cigarette over his unconscious body.
Earlier, Ranbir had spoken about the character he is playing in 'Animal' in a Zoom chat with fans and said that it is one of the darkest characters he has portrayed onscreen, "Working with Sandeep has been such an enriching experience for me as an actor because he is so original. There is nothing referenced in his films. Everything I was doing in 'Animal' as that character was so new. This is the darkest film I have done, because I am not playing any psycho killer in it. It is just the character, his mind and the way he operates. His psyche is very dark."
The film is set to hit the theatres on December 1 this year along with Vicky Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur'
