'Alia Is The Tadka In Dal Chawal, The Achar With It': Ranbir Kapoor On Married Life

Ranbir Kapoor also spoke about how 2022 was an important year for him with two big films like 'Shamshera' and 'Brahmastra' releasing within a span of 45 days and him getting married to Alia Bhatt.

New Delhi: Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are one of the most favourite Bollywood couples. Their fan following has only increased after marriage. At the trailer launch of 'Shamshera', Ranbir spoke about his married life to Alia Bhatt who is currently shooting for her Hollywood film 'The Heart of Stone' in London.

As 'Shamshera's trailer launched to great fanfare, Ranbir spoke to the media wherein he spoke about Alia's reaction to the trailer. He was quoted as saying by Pinkvilla, "Alia had seen the teaser and loved it. She is in London right now, so once she wakes up she will see the trailer.”

Ranbir also spoke about how 2022 was an important year for him with two big films like 'Shamshera' and 'Brahmastra' releasing within a span of 45 days and him getting married to Alia Bhatt.

“I don't know if it's a fortunate or unfortunate thing as two films release in 45 days. Films aside, this is a big year for me as I even got married. I always said that we need tangdi kebab, and not dal chawal in life. But with experience I can say that nothing better than Dal Chawal. Alia is the tadka in dal chawal, the achar with it, she is everything and I could not have asked for a better partner in my life.”

Alia also shared her husband and actor Ranbir's 'Shamshera' trailer and poster on her official Instagram handle announcing its date of release. Looks like Alia has begun promoting her partner's films and sharing updates about his projects in order to show support towards him.

Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is yet to make his official social media debut. Reports during the Ranbir-Alia wedding suggested that Ranbir will soon make his official account on social media. Allegedly, he uses social platforms under different names.

Helmed by Karan Malhotra, 'Shamshera' will be released in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi on July 22, 2022. Ranbir Kapoor is returning to the silver screen after 4 long years post Sanju ( 2018) during which he was shooting for Ayan Mukerji's 'Brahmastra' and 'Shamshera'.
