On the occasion of Aditya Chopra's 50th birthday, Karan Johar took to Instagram to wish his mentor, best friend and chachu to his twins Yash & Roohi with an adorable picture and a heart-warming birthday wish. Karan shared a rare throwback picture of the DDLJ director which was taken by Shah Rukh Khan, two decades ago. The photo also features, SRK’s eldest Aaryan who was then a toddler and Aditya Chopra smilingly gazing at the camera.
Along with the post, Karan wrote: And just like that he’s 50! So many memories ... so many movies... so many moments... He remains an unstoppable visionary! Karan also jokingly wrote 'yes yes he exists', as Aditya Chopra never gets clicked in public and is often tagged as an invisible filmmaker.
Ace filmmaker and producer Aditya Chopra is known for directing blockbuster films like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge and Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi. He has also produced many hit Bollywood films through Yash Raj Films, founded by his late father Yash Chopra.
He married Rani Mukerji after keeping their relationship under wraps for several years in Italy on April 21, 2014. The couple is parents to a 5-year-old daughter, Adira.
