The young couple made their relationship Instagram-official earlier this year on the occasion of Valentine’s Day. Ira shared a bunch of lovely pictures with him and wrote a sweet note. She had written, “Its an honour to make promises with and to you❤ #hi #whaleyoubemine #myvalentine #buddy #yourebetteratcheesylines #dreamboy” To this, Fatima Sana Shaikh had commented, “❤️❤️❤️. Awwww” while Ira’s cousin Zayn Marie had said, “Soooooo cute 🥰 😍❤️” Have a look:
Since then Ira and Nupur keep sharing mushy pictures on social media giving major couple goals. In-fact Nupur had also accompanied Ira to the wedding of her cousin, actor Zayn Marie Khan.
Ira has also been vocal about her battle with depression. On the work front, Ira directed a play, starring cricketer Yuvraj Singh’s wife Hazel Keech.
Earlier in an interview with a leading daily, Ira had said that she would one day like to direct her father, but only after she has acquired the necessary skills. “Maybe someday, when I have a better understanding of the craft. Working with somebody you know personally can be complicated, and that’s not specifically for my dad, but applies to anybody. I want to be sure of myself before I work with my dad because he is really well-read, like everybody else in the family. So, when I’m sure about myself, I would think about directing him,” she said.
