Aamir Khan's Daughter Gets Engaged: Know All About Ira Khan's Fiancé Nupur Shikhare
Nupur Shikhare is a celebrity fitness expert who specializes in movements and callisthenics. Recently, he got engaged to Ira Khan, daughter of Bollywood actor Aamir Khan.
New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan and film producer Reena Dutta's daughter Ira Khan got engaged to her boyfriend Nupur Shikhare last evening on November 18, 2022, in Mumbai, after being in a relationship for two years. Ashutosh Gowariker, Aamir Khan's ex-wife Kiran Rao, Reena Dutta, Imran Khan, other family members, close friends, and a few Bollywood stars were present for the engagement ceremony.
Shikhare wore a black tuxedo with a bowtie, while Ira chose a red floor-length off-the-shoulder gown. She also wore a black chain around her neck to complete her outfit.
Who is Nupur Shikhare?
Nupur Shikhare is a celebrity fitness expert who specializes in movements and callisthenics. It has been reported that he trained Sushmita Sen, a former Miss Universe, since 2008 and has also worked with Aamir Khan. In 2020, the personal trainer came into the limelight when he began dating Aamir's daughter Ira Khan.
Born in Pune, Nupur is a graduate of Mumbai's R.A. Poddar College of Commerce and Economics. He is also interested in playing tennis and has also received training in martial arts. He was initially interested in film-making and had moved to Mumbai to pursue his dreams, but eventually served as a fitness instructor for a number of Bollywood celebrities.
He has taken part in a number of endurance competitions, such as the 2017 Ironman Copenhagen and the 2019 Canthon.
Apart from these, he also took part in the sports entertainment programme Ultimate Beastmaster: India in 2017. He did not, however, make much progress in the competition.
The Engagement:
Social media is exploding with videos from the event. The Starkid herself has revealed snippets from the event. She also uploaded a video of herself and Nupur flashing their diamond rings.
Taking to her Instagram Stories on Saturday, Ira shared a video featuring her in a white tee and Nupur in a blue jacket. She says in the clip, “Morning after guys, makeup still not off.” She went on to lock hands with Nupur and screamed, “Guys see… yay” as they showed off their diamond rings together. She captioned the video, “My favourite place in the world is next to you.”
Nupur got down on one knee in front of everyone at his cycling event last month to propose to his girlfriend. Ira posted the romantic proposal video to social media, where she can be seen standing along with other people.
