'Dragon's Favourite Khan,' RSS Mouthpiece Hits Out At Aamir Khan After The Turkey Controversy

New Delhi: The troubles for Bollywood actor Aamir Khan following the controversy around his meet with Turkish First Lady, do not seem to wane off any soon. The Bollywood actor, known for several movies on patriotic theme, has now been targeted by Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh’s mouthpiece Panchjanya. All You Need To Know The cover story of the last edition of the RSS magazine has made a frontal attack on several film stars, Aamir being one of them, criticizing their actions as not showing nationalist colours. “Dragon Ka Pyara Khan” The report has accused Khan of colluding with anti-India forces, with reference to China and Turkey. It states that his film Dangal did a business of Rs 1400 crore there, while Salman Khan’s Sultan could do only of Rs 40 crore. It says that Aamir Khan is the brand ambassador of Chinese phone company Vivo, which has ignored security protocols. It said that Aamir Khan has more than 10 lakh followers on Chinese social media platform Sina Weibo. “No value for sentiment of countrymen” The article has alleged that Khan did not think before accepting the invitation of an enemy nation. “Should the audience not feel cheated,” it says. "If he really thinks that he is truly secular then why is he shooting in Turkey, as it openly supports Pakistan on Jammu and Kashmir. People haven’t yet forgotten his interview in which he said his wife is scared of living in India due to intolerance,” it said. Khan met her while he was shooting for his upcoming film, ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’. Erdogan also posted pictures with the actor on her official Twitter handle to share some pictures with the Bollywood actor and wrote, ‘I had the great pleasure of meeting @aamir_khan, the world-renowned Indian actor, filmmaker, and director, in Istanbul. I was happy to learn that Aamir decided to wrap up the shooting of his latest movie ‘Laal Singh Chaddha’ in different parts of Turkey. I look forward to it!
