WATCH | Bhagwant Mann & Arvind Kejriwal Visit Golden Temple & Jallianwala Bagh In Amritsar

Punjab Chief Minister designate Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Sunday.

New Delhi: Punjab Chief Minister designate Bhagwant Mann and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) national convener Arvind Kejriwal visited the Golden Temple in Amritsar on Sunday.

They also visited other locations in Punjab, before holding a victory roadshow in Amritsar on Sunday. The massive roadshow in Amritsar began in the afternoon.

News agency ANI shared on Twitter a video of Mann and Kejriwal at the Golden Temple. 

Kejriwal and Mann took blessings by bowing their heads at Shri Darbar Sahib.

They also paid a floral tribute at the Jallianwala Bagh memorial, which is close to the Golden Temple complex. 

Later in the day, Kejriwal and Mann offered prayers at the Durgiana Temple in Amritsar. They prayed to Goddess Durga for the prosperity and peace of Punjab by bowing their heads at the Durgiana temple, the party said in a tweet. 

On Sunday, 16 sitting councillors of Amritsar Municipal Corporation joined the AAP in the presence of AAP Senior Leader Manish Sisodia, Amritsar Mayor Karamjit Singh Rintu, and  Punjab in-charge Jarnail Singh.
