'Politics Not A Part-Time Job, Kangana Will Pack Her Bags On June 4': Cong's Vikramaditya Singh Slams Rival

The Congress candidate from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi constituency, Vikramaditya Singh, lashed out at Kangana Ranaut stating that she would return to Mumbai once the poll results are announced.

Vikramaditya Singh, the Congress candidate from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi parliamentary constituency, criticised his BJP opponent Kangana Ranaut on Saturday, stating that "politics is not a part-time job" and also predicted that the actress would return to Mumbai once the poll results are announced.

Singh emphasised that his campaign focuses on the development of Mandi while accusing the BJP candidate of raising "irrelevant" issues for "entertainment."

Speaking at a series of public meetings in the Mandi Lok Sabha constituency, Singh said, "Politics is not a part-time job. One has to live among the people day and night and serve them." "Kangana would pack her bags and return to Mumbai on June 4," he added, PTI reported.

He asserted that even BJP leaders are "whispering" about when "this calamity" will go back to Mumbai, urging voters to ensure his victory with a substantial margin.

Kangana Labels Vikramaditya Singh As 'Chhota Pappu'

In response, Ranaut recapitulated that she would restart all projects halted by the current Congress government, including the construction of an airport in Mandi. She called on the people to rebuke Congress for making derogatory remarks against her.

She claimed that rather than moving forward, the Congress was anti-women and was bringing us back to the 19th century.

Speaking to ABP News, Kangana has also mocked Vikramaditya Singh as "Chhota Pappu," labeling as the "Pappu" moniker often used by the BJP and its supporters for Rahul Gandhi. Explaining her comment, she said, "Pappu refers to someone who is not very intelligent, someone who is dumb. When you say dumb things and use derogatory language for daughters, it shows your IQ."

"Himachali people are sharp. I have two houses in this constituency. My opponent isn't even in Mandi. They are misleading people by saying I am a foreign entity while he is a local," she outlined.

Kangana Ranaut lashed out at the Congress party, stating, "Congress is the villain of the country; it has ruined an entire generation. They show love to the enemies of the nation, not to the devotees of Ram Lalla."

She condemns the Congress system as being built on lies, adding, "Congress claims BJP will change the constitution. They say my makeup team travels with me, and my water comes from Paris. They are trying to portray me as an alien entity before the common people."

Mandi will vote in the final phase of the Lok Sabha polls on June 1, with results to be declared on June 4.
