UP Election 2022: Ram Temple To Be 'Rashtra Mandir' Of India, Says CM Yogi Adityanath

Ram Temple will be 'Rashtra Mandir' of India said UP CM to the crowd gathered in Karhal.

New Delhi: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath while addressing an election rally in Mainpuri district on Friday promised to the electorates that the temple of Lord Ram in Ayodhya will be ready by 2023.

"A grand temple of Lord Ram will be ready in Ayodhya by 2023. This Ram Temple will be 'Rashtra Mandir' of India," said UP CM to the crowd gathered in Karhal, reported news agency ANI

Notably, Karhal in the Mainpuri district of Uttar Pradesh is a stronghold of the Samajwadi Party represented by founder Mulayam Singh Yadav for a long period.

SP chief Akhilesh Yadav would be contesting from the Karhal constituency for the first time. Election for the assembly seat will be held on February 20, which is the third phase of Uttar Pradesh elections.

In another rally in Kanpur, CM Yogi again spoke of Ram Temple and assured the people that the idol of Lord Ram will be placed in the temple in Ayodhya by end of 2023, which will pave the way for a "Ram Rajya" in the country.

"The idol of Ram Lalla will be shifted to the grand Ram Temple in Ayodhya by the end of the next year, paving the way for the establishment of 'Ram Rajya' in India," said the CM.

Two phases of elections concluded in the state on February 10 and February 14. The remaining five phases are scheduled for February 20, February 23, February 27, March 3, and March 7. The counting of votes will take place on March 10.
