'Razakars Fled Country, Loyalists Stayed Back And Defeated RSS': Owaisi To Amit Shah

Union Home Minister Amit Shah asserted that the loyalists who stayed behind had been defeating the RSS for four decades and would continue to do so.

In response to Union Home Minister Amit Shah's remarks about Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency being represented by someone associated with the 'Razakars', AIMIM president Asaduddin Owaisi pointed out that the Nizam's private militia had left the country, and only those who remained loyal stayed in India. He asserted that the loyalists who stayed behind had been defeating the RSS for four decades and would continue to do so.

AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi said, "Yesterday, Amit Shah said that for the last 40 years, Razakars have been ruling over Hyderabad...Razakars have fled the country, the people staying here are those, who have been loyal to this country and who have been defeating the RSS for the last 40 years. We will defeat them this time too."

He asked why Amit Shah and his party men hated the old city of Hyderabad (which mainly constitutes the LS seat).

Owaisi highlighted that the Hyderabad Parliamentary constituency is home to a diverse population, including Hindu brothers, Dalits, individuals from backward classes, residents from Rajasthan, and various other communities.

"Saying that Razakars have occupied for 40 years, is Hyderabad not an unbreakable part of India? Hyderabad is an unbreakable part of India and it will remain so. But, the country's home minister is nervous...," he said, as per a report on PTI.

On Wednesday, Amit Shah urged voters in the Hyderabad Lok Sabha constituency to elect BJP candidate K Madhavi Latha, aiming to "liberate" the seat from "Razakars," who were armed supporters of the Nizam.
