BJP-Sponsored Propaganda Driven Media Spreading Rumours About Cong Leadership's Activity In Rajasthan: Venugopal

K C Venugopal said that party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have campaigned in Rajasthan, MP, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram on many occasions.

The Congress on Sunday said that it is working together to guarantee that its administration is replicated in Rajasthan, and that a segment of the "BJP-sponsored" media is spreading "canards" about the party's senior leadership's activities in the desert state, news agency PTI reported. According to certain media reports, Rahul Gandhi and other top Congress officials are not focused on campaigning in Rajasthan as much as they are in other poll-bound states.

In a post on X, Congress general secretary (organisation) K C Venugopal said that party president Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, and Priyanka Gandhi Vadra have campaigned in Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Telangana, and Mizoram on many occasions.

"A section of the BJP-sponsored propaganda driven media is spreading canards about our top leadership's activity in Rajasthan," Venugopal said.

"From November 16 onwards, Kharge ji will be in Rajasthan for 3 days, Rahul ji will have public events spanning 4 days and Priyanka ji will also be campaigning for 3 days," he said.

"This propaganda is being spread against us while there is complete silence about how PM Modi did not even have the courage to campaign in Mizoram," Venugopal said.

These "premeditated hit jobs cast aspersions on our unwavering commitment to Rajasthan," the Congress general secretary remarked, are exceedingly unethical and malicious.

"Don't forget, Rahul ji walked for 18 days across Rajasthan during the Bharat Jodo Yatra -- one of the longest stretches of the Yatra," he said.

The Congress' vision for Rajasthan, as well as its electoral promises, are the result of Rahul Gandhi's interactions with the state's poor, youth, and disadvantaged people, according to Venugopal.

"Our entire party, right from the booth level to the INC President, is working unitedly to ensure our government is repeated in Rajasthan," he said.

"There is no doubt that we will return to power with a resounding victory -- because the Congress has an unbreakable, solid bond with the 8 crore people of Rajasthan. A bond that is forged by decades of public service and revolutionary governance," Venugopal said.
