New Delhi: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday released the 10th list of three more candidates for the Punjab Assembly elections.
Joginder Singh Maan, who ended his 50-year-long association with the Congress to join AAP, got ticket from Phagwara seat. Currently, Balwinder Singh Dhaliwal is the legislator from this assembly constituency. Former Patiala mayor Ajitpal Singh Kohli, who joined AAP after resigning from the Shiromani Akali Dal a few days back would be contesting from Patiala city, and Gurpreet Singh Goggi has been fielded from Ludhiana West, which is currently represented by cabinet minister Bharat Bhushan Ashu.

The Aam Aadmi Party has announced the names of 112 candidates out of 117 so far.
Earlier, over eight lakh people were reported to have participated in the AAP survey asking the voters to choose a candidate from the party who could become its chief ministerial face for the February 14 Punjab assembly polls, according to news agency PTI.
The Aam Aadmi Party launched the survey under its ‘Janta Chunegi Apna CM’ drive.
According to AAP senior leader Harpal Singh Cheema, who is also the Leader of Opposition, over three lakh WhatsApp messages, more than four lakh phone calls and over 50,000 text messages and over one lakh voice messages have been received on the number released by the party for choosing the AAP’s chief ministerial face in Punjab, as reported by PTI.
Meanwhile, the BJP and its ally SAD (Sanyukt) appealed to the Election Commission to postpone the assembly elections in Punjab scheduled on February 14, in view of Guru Ravidas Jayanti, after the BSP and Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi made similar requests to the poll panel.
The birth anniversary of Guru Ravidas falls on February 16.
