PM Modi Exclusive: Prime Minister Narendra Modi, during his visit to Odisha for Lok Sabha election campaigning, slammed the Opposition over issues like "vote bank politics", corruption, and reservations while expressing optimism about the BJP's prospects in the state. In an exclusive conversation with ABP News, PM Modi expressed his admiration for the enthusiasm and vibrancy he witnessed among the people of Odisha. He remarked, "This level of fervor and enthusiasm is rarely seen. Despite language barriers, there is a complete emotional connection with the hearts of the people, marking a turning point for Odisha."

"On June 4, BJP and NDA will achieve a tremendous victory in India's political history," PM Modi said as he exuded confidence in his victory.

PM Modi On Failure Of BJP-BJD Alliance Talks In Odisha

Regarding the failure of BJP-BJD alliance talks in Odisha, "We have been separate parties before, fought separate elections on different grounds. We received support in Parliament based on issues, but there has always been a struggle with them in the assembly. The reason is that the fragrance of Odia culture is not visible in this governance. The common man feels cut off. Even during the times of kings and queens, there was some connection with the people. There is no such connection here. In such a situation, it is BJP's responsibility to fulfill the aspirations of Odia citizens by connecting with the common people. After prolonged struggles, BJP in Odisha is committed to blooming the lotus."

'Mamata Banerjee Surrendered On Issues She Raised In Parliament': PM Modi On 'Votebank Politics' In Bengal

Reflecting on West Bengal's economic past and present political scenario, PM Modi criticized the historical mismanagement by previous governments, stating, "West Bengal was once the economic capital. Bengal led social and economic changes in this country for centuries. Bengal's capacity, even today, relies on its youth, but due to wrong policies and leadership, first due to the Left, then due to the TMC, and Congress also caused a lot of damage. These people have ruined the state for over 50 years, playing the politics of votebanks. When Mamata Ji was in Parliament, the issues she raised, she has surrendered to them today."

"And for her (Mamata), the votebank has become a mine of gold. Bengal cannot accept this change. They are in search of opportunities. This time, there will be a clean sweep in West Bengal and Odisha in the Lok Sabha," he further remarked.

PM Modi On Central Agency Raids And Oppn Criticism

PM Modi, addressing the raids by investigating agencies and Opposition allegations of being targetted by the Centre, remarked, "Out of all the cases by the ED, only 3% are on politicians. 97% are bureaucrats, drug mafias, land mafias, and sand mafias.

"The piles of notes being found are direct evidence coming out of politicians' houses. Whether it's Bengal or Jharkhand, the bank machines counting notes are sighing. Nearly one and a half lakh crores have been seized. If they were innocent, where did this money come from? Along with speaking on many cases, I also speak on the action of the ED. Are the people whose money is being confiscated innocent?" he remarked.

Taking a swipe at the Congress, PM Modi accused the party of undermining the Constitution, asserting the BJP's commitment to reservations, "Congress is thrusting a knife into the sentiments of India's Constitution. They are going to implement reservations on the basis of religion, contrary to what Baba Saheb Ambedkar said. We are committed to stopping this, and I guarantee Modi will fight till his last breath to ensure that there is no quota based on religion in SC, ST, OBC reservation."

The Prime Minister highlighted tremendous support from the people as he said, "The immense support of all sections of society is my privilege. I am grateful for the special blessings of mothers and sisters. Mothers and sisters are my protective shield. Poor Women in villages may not even know my full name, but they say, 'Our son is sitting in Delhi."
