Who Are The 16 TDP MPs Entering LS? Will CBN Manage To Get Ministries For Them In Modi 3.0 Govt? What We Know So Far
The Chandrababu Naidu-led TDP has asked for six ministries and the post of Lok Sabha speaker ahead of NDA preparing to stake claim to form the government.
As all looks set for the National Democratic Alliance to form the government for a consecutive third term, the Telugu Desam Party has threw the dice which could compel the Bharatiya Janata Party to mull over. The Chandrababu Naidu-led party, which now plays a pivotal role in the NDA with 16 seats, has demanded 6 ministerial profiles for the party and the post of Lok Sabha Speaker, as per a report by the New Indian Express.
The development comes just a day ahead when the alliance is preparing to stake claim to President Droupadi Murmu to form the government.
With BJP limited at 240 seats in the Lok Sabha polls, the saffron party is now banking upon the Nitish Kumar-led Janata Dal (United) and TDP to continue for a consecutive third term at Centre. JD(U), with its 12 seats and TDP with 16 are poised to have a crucial say in the upcoming coalition government and the BJP will have to deliberate upon Chandrbabu Naidu's party's demand.
These are the 16 TDP candidates which make the party a key stakeholder in NDA 3.0.
