'Your Mohabbat Ki Dukan Is Spreading Hate': Nadda's Jibe At Oppn Over 'Santan Dharma' Row In MP

BJP chief JP Nadda has kickstarted the party's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' in Madhya Pradesh's Satna district on Sunday.

BJP national president JP Nadda has inaugurated the party's 'Jan Ashirwad Yatra' in Madhya Pradesh on Sunday. The journey will commence from the sacred city of Chitrakoot in Satna district, marking the beginning of political campaigning in the BJP-ruled state. The yatra aims to connect with the people and seek their blessings as the state prepares for upcoming assembly elections later this year. Addressing a public meeting here, Nadda slammed DMK's Udayanidhi Stalin for his 'eradicate Sanatan Dharma' remark.

"Stalin's son, Udayanidhi Stalin says that 'Sanatan Dharma' should be abolished. He says that like dengue and malaria, 'Sanatan Dharma' should be abolished... They have no hesitation while making such statements...Is Udayanidhi's statement a part of the INDIA alliance's political strategy... Are you going to use this anti-Hindu strategy in the upcoming elections... You have proved multiple times that you hate everything related to our country and your 'Mohabbat ki dukan' is spreading hate," he said.

"Udhayanidhi Stalin made this remark when, three days ago, they (INDIA alliance members) had met in Mumbai to draw a strategy. Is this their political strategy to abolish 'Sanatan Dharma?" Nadda questioned.

Praising the Chandrayaan-3 and Aditya-L1 mission, the BJP chief said, "It is a matter of joy for us that our satellite has landed on the moon. Yesterday, Aditya-L1 was launched successfully. It will cover 15 lakh kilometres in 4 months, study the sun for 5 years and send data to us. Many congratulations to ISRO scientists who are working to conquer the moon and sun."

"NDA alliance is busy working to make India a developed nation under the guidance of PM Modi...Recently some members of dynastic alliance came together in Mumbai...This is the INDI alliance or the 'Ghamandiya' alliance...While we are busy making a developed state this 'Ghamandiya' alliance is harming our culture and religion..," he further added.

"India will emerge as the world's third largest economy soon, this is our guarantee, this is PM Modi's guarantee." Nadda said that he has full faith that people of Madhya Pradesh will give the saffron party their blessings and make BJP win in the upcoming assembly elections.

"Four such yatras will be taken out from other places in the next week," according to a party official. During the yatras, the BJP will hold large public meetings to reach out to the people and highlight the welfare schemes of the Centre and states, as well as their accomplishments, PTI reported.

According to the report, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to address a meeting of BJP workers on September 25 in Bhopal to mark the culmination of these five mass-contact programmes, according to party leaders.

The late Deendayal Upadhyaya, a top leader of the Bharatiya Janata Sangh, which later became the BJP, was born on September 25.

The yatra from Chitrakoot will pass through Madhya Pradesh's Vindhya region, the report said. The BJP won 24 of the 30 seats in this region in the 2018 assembly elections.

According to BJP leaders, these five yatras will cover more than 10,500 kilometres, passing through 210 of MP's 230 assembly constituencies before arriving in Bhopal, it added.

The Congress won 114 of the 230 seats in the November 2018 MP assembly elections, while the BJP came in second with 109.
