BJP To Ramp Up Lok Sabha Poll Campaign In South With PM Modi's Marathon Rallies From Today. Full Schedule

PM Modi is expected to deliver a public address in Kerala's Pathanamthitta with sources indicating an expected attendance of one lakh people.

In a strategic move to fortify its presence in the south, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is orchestrating an extensive campaign with Prime Minister Narendra Modi spearheading efforts across Kerala, Telangana, Tamil Nadu, and Karnataka. The Prime Minister's whirlwind tour is designed to consolidate BJP's influence, challenge dominant regional parties and make inroads in traditionally tough territories for the party.

In Kerala, the BJP is endeavoring to make a dent in the vote share of both UDF and LDF. In Tamil Nadu, BJP is striving to secure seats and mobilise against the I.N.D.I.A bloc. Additionally, in Telangana, the BJP is seeking to occupy the void created due to the defeat faced by BRS in the recent Assembly elections.

PM Modi's Schedule

On Friday, PM Modi is slated to campaign in Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. The visit will mark Prime Minister Modi's fifth visit to Tamil Nadu. During his previous visits, PM often paid visits to Hindu temples and sites of religious importance.

On BJP's strategy in Tamil Nadu, the saffron party is actively working to forge a coalition excluding both Dravidian parties in the state. It has successfully brought into its fold the Tamil Maanila Congress led by GK Vasan and AMMK which is under TTV Dhinakaran's leadership.

Later, Prime Minister Modi is scheduled to arrive in Pathanamthitta where he will be welcomed by K Surendran, the BJP's state chief, along with the party's Kerala in-charge Prakash Javadekar, state General Secretary George Kurian, and Pathanamthitta district president VA Sooraj. Following his arrival, the PM will deliver a public address, with sources indicating an expected attendance of one lakh people.

In Telangana, the Prime Minister's itinerary includes a roadshow and public meetings in key constituencies. PM is set to participate in a road show starting from Mirjalaguda in Malkajgiri at 3 PM on Friday located within the Malkajgiri Parliamentary Constituency. On March 16at 10 AM, Prime Minister Modi will take part in a public meeting in the Nagar Kurnool Parliamentary Constituency.

Following this, on March 18 at 9 AM, Narendra Modi will address a public meeting in Jagitial, situated within the Nizamabad Parliamentary Constituency.
