Lok Sabha Polls Phase 4: Voting On 96 Seats Across 10 States & UTs Begins Amid Tight Security
Lok Sabha Phase 4 Polling: In the fourth phase of Lok Sabha elections, 96 parliamentary constituencies across 10 states and UTs are set to go to polls.
Lok Sabha Phase 4 Polling: The phase 4 of Lok Sabha elections commenced on Monday. In this phase, 96 Parliamentary Constituencies across 10 States/UTs are set to go to polls. Over 17.7 crore voters are expected to cast their votes across 1.92 lakh polling stations. Ahead of the voting, special arrangements have been made for elderly and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) voters, with options for home voting.
Vigilance measures include the deployment of Observers and surveillance teams to ensure the integrity of the electoral process.
The Election Commission said that polling booths are primed across 10 States/UTs for the voting process to unfold smoothly, encompassing 96 Parliamentary Constituencies, as well as all 175 seats of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and 28 seats of the Odisha Legislative Assembly.
