Lok Sabha Elections: PM Modi To Address Multiple Rallies Across Karnataka and Maharashtra
Today, Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to address a series of rallies in Karnataka and Maharashtra, aiming to galvanize support ahead of the upcoming elections.
The schedule for PM Modi's rallies is as follows:
- At 12:15 PM in Bagalkot, Karnataka.
- At 2:15 PM in Solapur, Maharashtra.
- At 4:30 PM in Satara, Maharashtra.
- At 6:30 PM in Pune, Maharashtra.
Lok Sabha Elections: Amit Shah's Campaign in Bihar and Assam
Union Home Minister Amit Shah will be conducting two rallies in Bihar and a roadshow in Assam today. The itinerary for his engagements is as follows:
- At 12:30 PM, a rally in Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha constituency, Madhubani, Bihar.
- At 2:00 PM, a rally in Begusarai Lok Sabha constituency, Begusarai, Bihar.
- At 5:30 PM, a roadshow in Guwahati Lok Sabha constituency, Guwahati, Assam.
Lok Sabha Elections: Rahul Gandhi's Campaign in Gujarat and Chhattisgarh
Congress President Rahul Gandhi will be addressing public meetings in Gujarat and Chhattisgarh today:
- At 12:00 PM, a public meeting at Pragati Maidan, Patan, Gujarat.
- At 3:30 PM, a public meeting at Sakri Irrigation Ground, Takhatpur Vidhan Sabha, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.

Akhilesh Yadav, leader of the Samajwadi Party, will address a public meeting in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, at 2:30 PM. Mayawati, the supremo of Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP), will hold a rally in Kanpur-Islampur village, Badayun district, Uttar Pradesh.
Lok Sabha Elections: Rajnath Singh, Smriti Irani To File Nominations
Several key political figures are filing their nominations today:
Rajnath Singh, Defence Minister, will file his nomination from Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. He will be accompanied by Chief Ministers Yogi Adityanath and Pushkar Singh Dhami of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand respectively. Smriti Irani, Union Minister, will file her nomination from Amethi, Uttar Pradesh. She will also hold a roadshow before the nomination, joined by MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav.
Rohini Acharya, RJD candidate from Saran, Bihar, will file her nomination followed by a rally in Chhapra's Rajendra Stadium. Leaders like Lalu Yadav, Tejashwi Yadav, and Mukesh Sahni will be present. Lallan Singh, JD(U) candidate from Shivhar, Bihar, will file his nomination followed by a rally in Dakha, Motihari.
Notification for the Sixth Phase of Lok Sabha Elections
The Election Commission will issue notifications today for the sixth phase of the Lok Sabha elections. With this, the nomination process will commence, which will continue until May 6th, and withdrawals can be made until May 9th. The voting for the 57 seats across 7 states/Union territories in this phase will take place on May 25th. This phase includes constituencies from Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Bihar, West Bengal, Odisha, and Jharkhand.

The BSP on Monday declared three candidates from Uttar Pradesh for the ongoing Lok Sabha elections, while replacing the party candidate from the Amethi parliamentary constituency.
The Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) in a statement issued here on Monday said that it has declared Prathamesh Mishra as its candidate from the Pratapgarh Lok Sabha seat.
The party has named Ravi Prakash Kushwaha as its candidate from the Jhansi parliamentary constituency. (PTI)

The JJP's former Haryana unit chief Nishan Singh, who recently quit the party, joined the Congress on Monday. Former Jannayak Janta Party (JJP) state general secretary Ramesh Godara and another leader Rahul Makkar also joined the Congress. Congress leader and former chief minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda welcomed them and said the party is getting overwhelming support from various sections. He also asserted that the Congress will form the next government in Haryana. Hooda assured the three leaders, their supporters and others who joined the party of due respect in the Congress.Former Punjab chief minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, Haryana Congress chief Udai Bhan, Rajya Sabha MP Deepender Singh Hooda and party leader Ashok Arora were present during the joining. On 'obscene videos' case involving JD(S) MP Prajwal Revanna, Congress National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra says, " A big thing has happened in Karnataka, a person who shared stage with PM Modi and for whom he asked votes, he (Prajwal Revanna) sexually assaulted 1000s of women. I want to ask what do PM Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah have to say on this? Sometime ago, for 3 days I went to meet my daughter, PM and Home Minister said that I went abroad. They get to know when opposition leaders go somewhere they get to know but when such monsters leave the country they wouldn't get to know? How can we believe this? They have information about everyone but somebody committed such a big crime and ran away from country right from under their nose and they are doing nothing?..."
She went on to say "Modi shouldn't dare to speak about a woman's mangalsutra until Prajwal Revanna returns to India."
