Lok Sabha elections: Giriraj refuses to contest polls from Begusarai seat; Lashes out at 2 senior party leaders

As per reports, Giriraj blamed both the party leaders for changing his Nawada seat.

New Delhi: Attempts to convince senior Bharatiya Janta Party leader Giriraj Singh to contest 2019 Lok Sabha elections from Begusarai, Bihar were failed by party leaders as Singh, who is current Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises stayed adamant about fighting the polls from Nawada. As per reports, five senior party leaders, including Bhupendra Yadav, who is current National General Secretary of BJP and MP Nityanand Rai tried to have dialogue with Giriraj and convince him, but Giriraj lashed out at the two senior party leaders. As per reports, Giriraj blamed both the party leaders for changing his Nawada seat. CPI names Kanhaiya Kumar as candidate from Begusarai The CPI on Sunday announced the name of former JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar as its candidate from the Begusarai Lok Sabha seat, where he would take on Union minister Giriraj Singh in a triangular contest with the RJD. Now, if Giriraj agrees to fight polls from Begusarai, he will be battling against former JNUSU president Kanhaiya Kumar. Voting for Lok Sabha polls in Bihar are set to take place in 7 phases and the counting of first phase will take place on April 11. The counting of votes will however will take place on May 23.
