'No One Will Stop You From Celebrating Ram Navami, Worship Lord Ram': PM Modi's 'Guarantee' In Bengal

Prime Minister Narendra Modi addressed a poll rally in West Bengal's Barrackpore on Sunday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday fired slavo at Trinamool Congress and the I.N.D.I.A bloc saying that the Eastern India has been left backward till now under their rule. Addressing a poll rally in West Bengal's Barrackpore, Modi said that people in the Eastern part of India have only got poverty despite the states being capable.

"These states have mineral resources, fertile land. These states have also tourism potential. I have decided to make these states an engine of growth for Viksit Bharat," he said.

Further attacking the TMC, Modi said people in Bengal are not allowed to celebrate Ram Navami and gave a guarantee that till "Modi is there "no one will stop you from celebrating Ram Navami or worship Lord Ram."

He enlisted five guarantees to the people of Bengal ensuring that there will be no reservation on the basis of religion and the reservation for SCs, STs, and OBCs will not be stopped.

He also guaranteed that no one will "reverse the Supreme Court order on Ram temple" and that CAA law won't be scrapped.

He slammed the TMC government accusing that the state government has turned Hindus into "second-class citizens" during its regime.

"TMC has made bomb making a cottage industry in Bengal. Today, it has become difficult for a common man to follow his faith in Bengal. TMC threatens people when they chant the name of Shri Ram," he said.

Modi charged that I.N.D.I.A bloc has "completely surrendered" to their appeasement policy.

"They are willing to engage in 'Vote Jihad' against BJP. A TMC leader says that they will throw Hindus into the Bhagirathi River... Where do they get the audacity to say and do all of this? Who is supporting them," said the PM.

"Hindus have become second-class citizens in Bengal under the TMC rule." PM Modi said.
