The fourth phase of polling for Lok Sabha Elections is taking place across 10 States/UTs, engaging 96 Parliamentary Constituencies besides all 175 seats of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly and 28 seats of the Odisha Legislative Assembly. To augment voter turnout, polling time extensions are granted in specific assembly segments of 17 Parliamentary Constituencies in Telangana.

Over 17.7 crore voters are expected to exercise their franchise across 1.92 lakh polling stations in this phase.

Special provisions cater to elderly and Persons with Disabilities (PwD) voters, including home voting options. Vigilance measures entail the deployment of Observers and surveillance teams to uphold electoral integrity.

In its efforts to combat inducement tactics, the ECI has mobilised 4661 Flying Squads, 4438 Static Surveillance Teams, 1710 Video Surveillance Teams, and 934 Video Viewing Teams to monitor and swiftly address any irregularities.
