Kejriwal appeals to traders to go beyond veil of Modi govt's 'False Nationalism', vote out BJP

Amid the ongoing general elections, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a veiled attack on Prime Minister Modi on Monday. New Delhi: Amid the ongoing general elections, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal launched a veiled attack on Prime Minister Modi on Monday. Addressing a press conference in Delhi, the AAP National Convenor said that the nationalism exhibited by PM Modi and his party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, is false and misleading. Kejriwal criticized the BJP government for its policies and said most of them had failed in their execution. The AAP supremo added that the BJP govt is trying to wrongly project traders of Delhi as thieves. He added that the Goods and Services Tax and demonetisation scheme of the government have proved to be an utter failure as it was implemented without any prior planning and thought process. He accused the Bharatiya Janata Party of playing vendatta politics by carrying out Income Tax raids at the houses of seasoned politicians and the public in general. The AAP chief added that notices issued to vyapaaris by ED and IT was nothing short of 'tax terrorism'. Kejriwal said that the economy is in a dismal state due to the faulty policies of the Modi government. He added that the traders are feeling ignored and scared under the regime of Modi government. Kejriwal also accused PM Modi of wrong practices in the political arena, referring to the PM making comments in his rallies about buying leaders from other parties. Kejriwal also alleged Modi of having secret relations with leaders of Pakistan.
