Goa Election 2022: Manohar Parrikar's Son Utpal Parrikar Leaves Polling Centre After 'Disappointing' Result
Goa Election 2022: Utpal Parrikar said that he was 'satisfied with the fight' but was disappointed with the result.
Goa Election 2022: Utpal Parrikar, the son of former chief minister of Goa, Manohar Parrikar, who ran as an independent candidate from Panaji seat in the Goa Assembly Election 2022 was trailing by nearly 700 votes. BJP's Atanasio Monserrate is leading from this seat as per the latest trends on Election Commission's website.
Parrikar left the polling station as per ANI. He said that he was 'satisfied with the fight' but was disappointed with the result.
"As an Independent candidate it was a good fight, I thank the people. Satisfied with the fight but result is little disappointing," says Utpal Parrikar, as he leaves from counting center.
It has to be noted that the voting for the Panaji seat, along with the other 40 seats on Goa is going on. The final results would be clear by evening.

Parrikar had the support of parties like Shiv Sena and NCP, but still failed to win the seat.
