'Flying Kiss' Lands AAP MLA Dinesh Mohaniya In Trouble Ahead Of Polls

FIR Against AAP MLA: A case has been registered against Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) MLA Dinesh Mohaniya ahead of the Delhi Assembly elections. A woman has accused the MLA from Sangam Vihar of blowing a 'flying kiss' during an election campaign. Based on the woman's complaint, an FIR has been lodged at the Sangam Vihar police station under charges of molestation. Currently, no statement has been issued by the MLA on the matter.

The FIR was registered before the voting for the 70 seats in the Delhi Assembly began on Wednesday, February 5.

AAP Reaffirms Faith In Mohaniya For Fourth Term

Sangam Vihar is one of the 10 constituencies in the South Delhi Lok Sabha region. Dinesh Mohaniya has served as Sangam Vihar MLA for three terms. The AAP has nominated him for the fourth time. The BJP has fielded Chandan Kumar in Sangam Vihar, while the Congress has pitted Harsh Chaudhary against them.

Dinesh Mohaniya Third AAP MLA To Have Case Registered In 2 Days

Apart from the FIR against Dinesh Mohaniya, the Delhi Police registered cases against CM Atishi and AAP's Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan. The FIRs against Atishi and Khan were lodged over alleged violation of the Model Code of Conduct ahead of the Delhi Assembly election.

The case against Amanatullah Khan was filed after he was seen campaigning with more than 100 supporters in Zakir Nagar on Tuesday night. A case was also registered against Delhi Chief Minister Atishi for MCC violations in Kalkaji on Tuesday.

The police said she was accompanying party supporters who allegedly interfered with an officer's work at Fateh Singh Marg. A case was registered against Atishi's supporters because they misbehaved with the policemen and blocked the way of Ramesh Bidhuri's nephews by posing as members of the Election Commission.
