My Wife Cried When Manish Lost: Ex-AAP Leader Kumar Vishwas

Former AAP leader Kumar Vishwas reacted to the Delhi election results, and narrated an old conversation between and Sisodia and his wife. He also congratulated the BJP for its victory.

After the results of the Delhi Assembly elections were announced, former AAP leader and poet Kumar Vishwas gave his reaction. He told that when Manish Sisodia lost the election from Jangpura seat, his wife cried. He also narrated an old incident related to Manish Sisodia while talking to the media.

While speaking to news agency ANI, Kumar Vishwas said, "Today when the decision of Jangpura came on TV, it was shown that Manish Sisodia lost, tears came out from my wife's eyes, who always remains neutral and away from politics."

Narrating an old conversation, Kumar said, "When Sisodia was once told by my wife that "Bhaiya, you are not always going to be in power", Manish Sisodia replied that "Abhi toh hai (I am in power today)."

Kumar Vishwas further said, "I congratulate BJP for the victory." Taking an apparent dig at Kejriwal, Vishwas said, "I have no sympathy for the person who crushed the dreams of AAP workers. Delhi is now free from him."

As soon as the results came, the opposition parties have started raising questions on the Election Commission. On this, Kumar Vishwas said, "I am not a political worker. It is not appropriate for me to react. This is a natural reaction for Delhi. It is sad that the Anna movement had generated energy, which could have brought about positive change in the country, could have led to an alternative politics, but it was killed."

The results of Delhi Assembly Elections, polling for which held on February 5, were declared yesterday. The BJP returned to power in Delhi after 27 years, securing a decisive mandate in the assembly elections. The saffron party won 48 seats, ousting AAP, which managed to secure only 22 seats after a decade in power. Meanwhile, Congress again failed to open its account.
