Watch: Congress Workers Celebrate Early Even As Counting Shows 'Neck To Neck' Fight In Haryana

Congress leader and former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat also thanked people of of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir saying that the party is on course of a great victory.

Haryana Election Results: Congress party workers were seen bursting firecrackers outside the party headquarters at Delhi after early trends suggests big lead in Jammu And Kashmir Assembly elections vote counting while the counting in Harayana shows BJP and Congress neck to neck.

The video below shows Congress workers bursting firecrackers outside AICC headquarters in Delhi as early trends showed lead for Congress-National Conference alliance in Jammu and Kashmir.

Congress leader and former Uttarakhand CM Harish Rawat also thanked people of of Haryana and Jammu and Kashmir saying that the party is on course of a great victory.

In Jammu and Kashmir, the Congress and National Conference alliance is ahead on 47 seats as BJP trails on 28 seats. PDP is leading on 3 seats as of 10:19 AM.

Congress in Haryana was leading in 65 seats in early trend, however, it came down to 31 while BJP's numbers seemed to be imporving with lead in 51 seats in Harayana. In early morning trends BJP was leading on just 19 seats. 

Party spokesperson Pawan Khera expressed confidence in his party's victory. Chairman of the Media & Publicity Department, Khera, on Tuesday morning, said, "We are certain that today will be a day of celebration for us, with plenty of laddus and jalebis to go around. We're even planning to send some jalebis to Prime Minister Modi... We're confident that we'll form governments in Haryana and Jammu & Kashmir with a clear majority."
