AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal appealed to the Congress to join the proposed alliance between his party and the JJP.
Kejriwal offer was snubbed by the JJP, which said it can "never have any truck" with the Congress.

NEW DELHI: Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday appealed to the Congress and the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) to join hands with his party in Haryana to defeat the BJP in Lok Sabha elections in the state. Kejriwal earlier on Wednesday told reporters that an alliance between AAP, Congress and Jannayak Janata Party would defeat the BJP in the state. "Let's come together in Haryana to defeat the BJP," Kejriwal said. In a tweet in Hindi, Kejriwal said: "Desh ke log Amit Shah aur Modi ji ki jodi ko harana chahatey hain. Agar Haryana mein JJP, AAP aur Congress saath ladtey hain toh Haryana ki dasson seaton par BJP haregi. Rahul Gandhi is par vichar karein." (People want to defeat Amit Shah and Modi. If the Congress, JJP and AAP contest in Haryana jointly, the BJP will lose on all 10 seats in Haryana. Rahul Gandhi should think about it).
However, within minutes after Kejriwal's comments, the JJP issued a strong-worded statement, saying it can "never have any truck" with the Congress. "The JJP has been formed on the ideology of late Choudhary Devi Lal who has always fought against Congress so JJP will never enter into any alliance with the Congress and will not be part of any alliance which includes Congress," JJP's national general secretary KC Bangar said. The JJP, which was formed in December after a split in the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD), performed well in the Jind assembly seat by-election last month. The AAP had supported the JJP candidate then. The BJP won seven Lok Sabha seats in the 2014 parliamentary elections. The INLD won two seats and the Congress bagged on seat. On Monday, Congress President Rahul Gandhi ruled out any alliance with AAP in Delhi and asked his party workers in the capital to win all seven Lok Sabha seats following which Kejriwal said his party would win all seven parliamentary seats in Delhi "on its own". (With inputs from agencies)देश के लोग अमित शाह और मोदी जी की जोड़ी को हराना चाहते हैं। अगर हरियाणा में JJP, AAP और कांग्रेस साथ लड़ते हैं तो हरियाणा की दसों सीटों पर भाजपा हारेगी। राहुल गांधी जी इस पर विचार करें।
