Akhilesh Yadav At ABP Ghoshnapatra Reveals Why Partners Are Leaving SP Ahead Of Lok Sabha Polls

During an ABP News program "Ghoshnapatra", Akhilesh Yadav was asked that why did Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) left the alliance. Know what SP chief stated.

As Lok Sabha elections are aproaching nearer, in Uttar Pradesh, dissatisfaction among leaders of the I.N.D.I.A bloc and the Samajwadi Party is steadily increasing over the past few days. Several leaders have resigned from the Samajwadi Party. Meanwhile, over the past two days, two parties within the I.N.D.I.A Alliance have also announced their separation. Amidst this, SP chief Akhilesh Yadav has responded. During an ABP News program "Ghoshnapatra", Akhilesh Yadav was asked about the trend of consecutive departures happening.

In reference to Jayant Chaudhary, when asked that why did Rashtriya Lok Dal (RLD) left SP, Akhilesh Yadav stated: "We were willing to give them 6 lok sabha seats to contest, however, they wanted one more "Muzzafarnagar". I wanted Harendra Malik to contest from that seat. However, we were still willing to negotiate with them over Muzzafarnagar seat. But, they went with BJP."

"Many allies who were associated with us from time to time had very high demands. And since we have decided to defeat BJP in the Lok Sabha polls, I was unable to fulfill their demands," he added.

Speaking about the alliance with Congress, SP chief said: "I cannot take a decision as to whom Congress will give ticket to but I can only say that SP will stand with every Congress candidate in UP."

He added: "I will not say old things now. Those whom I trusted to stand by the Samajwadis for a long time have left us. The BJP has done the work of breaking them."

Blaming BJP for corruption, SP Chief stated: "Today, favours are being given to those who are with the BJP. Some are getting security and some are being given ministerial positions. Some are getting something else under this package. Isn't this a form of corruption? But the question is why the BJP is running away from the questions of the people today."

When asked that if the doors for alliance with BSP are still open, Akhilesh Yadav stated that "its too late for it now."

Highlighting SP's "PDA" strategy for the upcoming Lok Sabha polls, Akhilesh said that the PDA includes people from the backward, Dalit and minorities. "This is to include everyone with us," he said.
