ABP News-CVoter Opinion Poll: 60% Maharashtra Voters Want To See Modi As PM, NDA Likely To Get 44% Votes

In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, the BJP managed to win all 23 seats in Maharashtra, and the Congress only managed to grab one seat.

ABP CVoter Survey: The Lok Sabha elections are just a few days away, and political parties have stepped up poll campaigning across the country. They are releasing lists of candidates to be fielded for the crucial polls beginning from April 19.

While the Bharatiya Janata Party is trying to aim for the 370 mark in this election, the I.N.D.I.A. alliance is leaving no stone unturned in a bid to try and fight back against the saffron party.

Maharashtra, with its 48 Lok Sabha seats, is a crucial state for both the ruling party and the opposition alliance. In the 2019 Lok Sabha election, the BJP managed to win all 23 seats in the state, and the Congress only managed to grab one seat.

In order to gauge the mood of Maharashtra, ABP News conducted an opinion poll in association with CVoter, asking Maharashtra respondents if they are satisfied with the work of the central government and whether they are happy with their Chief Minister and Prime Minister.

According to the survey, 46 percent of the people are highly satisfied with the work of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, while 29 percent are unsatisfied with the PM. On the other hand, 60 percent of the people want to see Narendra Modi as the Prime Minister, while only 27 percent prefer Rahul Gandhi as the PM.

The survey report also predicted that the BJP-led NDA is likely to get 44 percent of the vote share in Maharashtra. On the other hand, the I.N.D.I.A. alliance is expected to get 40 percent, as per the survey.

Meanwhile, according to the survey results in UP, 33 percent of people are highly satisfied with the work of the PM Modi-led central government, and 27 percent are less satisfied. The survey projected that around 35 percent of people are dissatisfied with the government's work.

When it comes to Eknath Shinde's government in Maharashtra, only 22% of the people said they were fully satisfied with the work of the Mahayuti government in the state, while another 34% of the people said they were less satisfied. 37 percent of people were unsatisfied with the BJP-Shiv Sena government in the state.

[Disclaimer: This survey was based on CVoter personal interviews conducted among 2,258 adults across India. Sometimes the table figures do not sum to 100 due to the effects of rounding off. The margin of error is +/- 3% at the macro level and +/- 5% at the micro level. We believe this will give the closest possible resemblance to the trends.]
