Ghatal: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Adhikari Deepak (Dev) from All India Trinamool Congress (AITC) won the elections by a margin of 260891 votes. The polling / voting in Ghatal constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 6 on 12 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Bharati Ghosh and All India Trinamool Congress#s Deepak Adhikari
