Dewas: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Manohar Untwal from Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP) won the elections by a margin of 260313 votes. The polling / voting in Dewas constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 7 on 19 May. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Mahendra Solanki and Congress Party#s Prahlad tipaniya

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Bharatiya Janata Party won 27 out of the 29 parliamentary seat with 54 percent vote share while the Indian National Congress managed to win just 2 seats with a 34.9 percent vote share.
