Delhi Assembly Elections: ‘Ye Chunav Kaam Par Hoga,' Arvind Kejriwal After EC Announces Poll Dates
The AAP which is seeking re-election, will fight in collaboration with election strategist Prashant Kishor's consultancy firm I-PAC.
New Delhi: Soon after the Election Commission on Monday announced the dates for the impending Delhi Assembly elections, Delhi incumbent CM Arvind Kejriwal sounded the poll bugle by announcing that the upcoming polls will be fought on the basis of the work done.
Taking to Twitter, Kejriwal said “ ye chunav kaam par hoga.”
The AAP which is seeking re-election, will fight in collaboration with election strategist Prashant Kishor's consultancy firm I-PAC. While the BJP appears confident of overthrowing the AAP government, the Congress also looks to surge back to power despite a dismal performance in 2015 assembly polls. The Aam Admi Party led by Arvind Kejrwial had recorded a massive victory by clinching 67 seats in the 70-seats assembly in the 2015 state elections. However, in the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) had bagged all the seven Lok Sabha seats in Delhi in the 2019 Lok Sabha polls, while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) could not get any seat. In the tailing months of its tenure, the AAP government sought to fulfil pending pre-poll promises in 2019 and made a string of announcements like free-bus rides for women, no electricity charges of up to 200 units, free WiFi, free pilgrimage for senior citizens and waiver of development charges for new water and sewer connections.ये चुनाव काम पर होगा
