Aska: In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Ladu Kishore Swain from Biju Janata Dal (BJD) won the elections by a margin of 311997 votes. The polling / voting in Aska constituency in the 2019 General elections took place in Phase 2 on 18 April. The major contest is between Bharatiya Janata Party#s Anita Priyadarshni and Biju Janata Dal#s Pramila Bisoyi

In the 2014 Lok Sabha polls, Biju Janata Dal won 20 out of the 21 parliamentary seat with 44.1 percent vote share while the Bharatiya Janata Party managed to win just 1 seats with a 21.5 percent vote share.

The total voter turnout was 63.62% Lok Sabha percent with 59.85% Lok Sabha percent male voters turning out to cast their votes. Here, Bharatiya Janta Party leader Chaudhary Haribhai Parthibhai attained 308313 votes and Indian National Congress candidate B K Gadhvi bagged 282337 votes
• 1998 Lok Sabha Elections: In 12th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated Indian National Congress candidate by a margin of 84755 votes BJP candidate Chaudhari Haribhai Parathibhai had got 382714 while INC got B.K. Gadhvi votes.
• 1996 Lok Sabha Elections: In 11th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated Bharatiya Janta Party candidate with a difference of 11960 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader B.K. Gadhavi attained 211624 votes and Bharatiya Janta Party candidate Chavada Harisinhji Pratapsinhji bagged 199664 votes
• 1991 Lok Sabha Elections: In 10th Lok Sabha election, Bharatiya Janta Party candidate had defeated JD(G) candidate by a margin of 52042 votes BJP candidate Chavda Harisinhji Patapsinhji had got 226895 while JD(G) got Shah Jayantilal Virchandbhai votes.
• 1989 Lok Sabha Elections: In Ninth Lok Sabha election, JD candidate defated Indian National Congress candidate in one-sided contest. Here, JD candidate Shah Jayantilal Virchandbhai attained 392636 votes and INC's Gadhvi B.K. bagged 142385 votes.
• 1984 Lok Sabha Elections: In 8th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate defeated JNP candidate with a difference of 27283 votes. Here, Indian National Congress leader B.K.Gadhvi attained 182674 votes and JNP candidate Chavda Harisinhji Pratapsinhji bagged 155391 votes
• 1980 Lok Sabha Elections: In 7th Lok Sabha election, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated JNP candidate by a margin of 89487 votes INC(I) candidate Bheravdan Khetdanji Gadhavi had got 184057 while JNP got Achhva Kasambhai Mahmadbhai votes.
• 1977 Lok Sabha Elections: In Sixth Lok Sabha election, interesting battle could be seen between Indian National Congress and BLD here Indian National Congress candidate defeated his BLD counterpart with a difference of 3777 votes.

Here, Indian National Congress leader Chawda Akbarbhai Dalumiya attained 66368 votes and IND candidate Mehta Kanaiyalal Bhabhutbhai bagged 55665 votes
• 1951 Lok Sabha Elections: In India's Very First Lok Sabha Polls, Indian National Congress candidate had defeated SP candidate by a margin of 55711 votes INC candidate Chavda Akbar Dalumiyan had got 91753 while SP got Mehta Gordhandas Girdharlal votes.
