UPSC Results Announced, Shakti Dubey Secures Top Rank

UPSC CSE Final Result 2024: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) announced the Civil Services Exam (CSE) final results on April 22 (Monday), and Shakti Dubey has secured the top spot. Harshita Goyal ranked second, and Dongre Archit Parag third. 

The other candidates in the Top 10 are Shah Margi Chirag, Aakash Garg, Komal Punia, Aayushi Bansal, Raj Krishna Jha, Aditya Vikram Agarwal and Mayanak Tripathi.

The selection process for UPSC has three stages --Preliminary, Mains, and the Personality Test (Interview). The final merit list is prepared based on candidates' performance across all three stages.

As per a government notification, 1,129 vacancies are to be filled through this recruitment process. These include 180 posts in the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), 55 in the Indian Foreign Service (IFS), and 147 in the Indian Police Service (IPS).

There are 605 vacancies in Central Services Group 'A' and 142 in Group 'B' Services. 

The written part of the Civil Services Examination, 2024 was held by the Union Public Service Commission in September, 2024 and the interviews for the Personality Test were held in January-April this year. 

Result will also be available on the U.P.S.C. website i.e.
http//www.upsc.gov.in. Marks will be available on the website within 15 days from the date
of declaration of result.
