UP Board Result 2020: Girls Outshine Boys In Both Class 10th and 12th Examinations, Secure Higher Pass Percentage

Girls once again fared better than boys in the UP Board Class X and Class XI examinations, the results of which were declared by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad earlier in the day

Girls once again outshone boys in the Uttar Pradesh Class 10th and 12th Board examinations, the results of which were declared a short while ago by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad(UPMSP), ending a long period of wait and anxiety for lakhs of students. Addressing a press conference to announce the results, UP Deputy CM Dinesh Sharma said that the Board results have been better than last year. Over 30 lakh students in Class 10th and 24,84 lakh students in 12th had written the examination this year. The girls once again fared better than the boys,  securing a higher pass percentage in both the Class 10th and 12th examinations Girls Outshine Boys With Better Pass Percentage In Class XII Examinations A total of 2484479 total students took the Class 12th UP state board examination this year. Out of the 1392675 boys, 959223 passed making a pass percent of 68.88. On the other hand, 894876 out of 1091804 girls passed the exam, making a pass percentage of 81.96. Girls Outperformed Boys With Higher Percentage In Class X Exam. The Class 10th UP Board examination was taken by 27,72656 students out of which 1490814 Boys and 1190888 boys cleared the exams, making a pass percentage of 79.88%. Meanwhile 1118914 out of 1281842 girls cleared the exam making a pass percentage of 87.29. A total of 23,09,802 students who appeared in the Class X state board examination have passed the UP 10th High School results. The overall pass percentage for Class 10 is 83.31%. Meanwhile, the pass percentage for 12th is 74.63 percentage. A glance into the topper of the Class 10th and 12th Board Examinations Ria Jain topped the UP Board Class 10th Examination with 96.67%. Meanwhile, Anurag Malik bagged the Numero Uno spot the UP 12th Result 2020 with 97%. Both the toppers belong to the same school - SN Inter College, Baghpat., Abhimanyu Verma and Yogesh Pratap Singh come in 2nd and 3rd in High School with 95.8 and 95.33% respectively. Pranjal Singh and Uttkarsh Shukla have come in 2nd and 3rd for UP 12th with 96% and 94.80% respectively.
